How it works – The Funding Process

The process is easy. We will assist you every step of the way via chat, telephone or email. The hardest part is taking the first step:

  • 1Register in our system to submit student applications.
  • 2Start submitting applications
  • 3When you have an approved application, decide if the amount Atlas is willing to pay is fair to you. If so, then move to the next step.
  • 4Submit the required loan documents. Our system does most of the work, so there is no filling out long forms. The applicant will sign the documents electronically and you will upload all the supporting documents like a copy of the applicant’s driver’s license and social security card.
  • 5Atlas will perform a welcome call with your student to go over the terms of the loan and to acquire the applicant’s latest contact information.
  • 6Next, Atlas will verify employment of your applicant.
  • 7Finally, Atlas will buy your contract and send you your money electronically. Payments occur every Friday.

That is it. The process is completely transparent. You will receive an email every time anything is added to your student’s record. You can login to the myAtlas website at any time and check the funding status of your student to ensure that we are moving as fast as we can to fund your contract.
